The following is an overview of the restoration program that GSE&E provides for Princeton forklift owners:

Teardown And Assessment

Here at GSEE we treat your equipment like its our own. We go over every inch of the forklift and if we find something that is not up to our standards we will make sure when we replace it, it will be.

  1. The forklifts are examined and run to inspect operation of both hydraulic systems and engine starting, charging systems.
  1. A list is made of all defects in operation.
  1. The whole unit is then given a complete power washing especially the engine, frame work and mast assembly.
  1. The unit is then taken inside and has the entire mast and carriage assemblies disassembled.
  2. Assess Condition of cylinders.
  3. Assess condition of all hoses.
  4. Assess condition of side shift bearing.
  5. Assess condition of work mast work lights.
  6. Assess condition of 7-pin cord.
  7. Assess condition of radiator and flush the radiator.
  8. System hydraulic pressures will be checked and adjusted as needed.
  9. The Trac Loc system will be inspected to insure operation is satisfactory.

Rebuild and Repaint

We don’t stop at bringing your machine back to how it worked on the first day, we also repaint and the body so it looks the part too!

  1. The leaking cyclinders will be resealed and repacked.
  2. All damaged hoses replaced.
  3. The side shift bearing will be replaced if needed.
  4. Replace work mast lights if needed
  5. Replace 7-pin cord if needed.
  6. Replace radiator if needed.
  7. All carriage and mast roller bearing will be replaced with.
  8. The two mast chains and roller guides will be removed and replaced with new.
  9. Operator seats replaced.
  10. The alternator belt will be replaced with new.
  1. All previously removed tin work will be stripped of paint and primed and repainted Princeton blue.
  1. The entire exterior frame work, including ROPS, will be stripped of paint, primed and repainted Princeton blue/grey.
  2. All three tires and rims will be removed and rims will be stripped of paint , primed and repainted white. Lug bolts will be stripped and painted Princeton grey along with center hubs.
  3. Fork backrest and mold board and tines will be stripped of paint, primed and painted.
  4. All wheel motors will be replaced if need be.
  5. All units will have a Level 1 service with ALL fluids and filters replaced, all grease fittings inspected and or replaced then greased.
